The subtitles on this release are an edited for spelling and grammar version of the TV-Nihon subtitles with a pass done by RiderTime in order to retranslate parts that needed it scattered throughout the video. Ace Ukiyo and other Riders who fought in the Desire Grand Prix are invited to a new game called “Desire Royale”. The breathtaking battle of “GEATS VS REVICE VS RYUKI” starts here! A crossover film between Kamen Rider Geats, Kamen Rider Revice, and Kamen Rider Ryuki, starting with the ending story of Kamen Rider Revice and continues with “a dreadful game” where the Riders declare war on each other. On December 4, 2022, Ryo Horikawa, Hiroshi Kamiya, Yusuke Onuki, Tetsuhiro Ikeda, and Kamen Rider Fourze-star Hajime Yamazaki, were announced to have joined the film's cast. On November 20, 2022, a currently unnamed child and the comedian Masanori Hasekawa from the comedy group Nishikigoi were announced to have joined the film's cast as Koshiro Igarashi and Baby Devil respectively. Furthermore, Koda Kumi was also revealed to be performing the film's ending theme as a solo act without Shonan no Kaze. It was also revealed that the film would feature characters and elements from Kamen Rider Ryuki to celebrate its 20th anniversary, with Takamasa Suga, Satoshi Matsuda, and Takashi Hagino reprising their roles as Shinji Kido, Ren Akiyama, and Takeshi Asakura respectively. On November 13, 2022, the film's format was announced to comprise of multiple acts, with the first being a "true finale" to Kamen Rider Revice and the second portion, which serves as the proper crossover between their respective series. On July 21, 2022, the film was announced by Toei shortly after the premiere of Kamen Rider Revice: Battle Familia, with a given release date of December 23, 2022. Takahashi created the "Devil Marathon Game" as an exclusive mission for the film, and scattered future plot points that will eventually develop in Geats's narrative. There was discussion of the film being divided into three acts, but it was ultimately split into two. The film's format was conceived to comprise of multiple acts, with the first being a "true finale" to Kamen Rider Revice with Hanta Kinoshita penning the portion, while he would collaborate with Yuya Takahashi to write the second portion, which serves as the proper crossover between their respective series.
